Writing Portfolio
A collection of my recent work, including research, academic, narrative, and poetry.
I am currently a consulting analyst at Accenture, a global technology consulting firm. I graduated in May 2019 from the University of Michigan with degrees in Anthropology and Computer Science. I am fascinated by the way humans interact with their cultural environments and with technology, and enjoy applying design thinking concepts to iterate on solutions to complex problems. In the past, I have worked in consulting, web development, photography, ethnography, education, and museum studies. I have a strong technical understanding through my experience studying Computer Science, and am also a skilled communicator and researcher through my anthropology and consulting background. In my free time, I enjoy listening to podcasts, traveling, and supporting NGOs. I am particularly passionate about helping to improve international access to education for women and girls, and hope to continually contribute my skills and resources to this cause throughout my career.
After graduating, I spent five months traveling (I barely made it pre-COVID!) around several countries in Europe and Asia. Much of this journey was a solo one, and I learned how to navigate many new situations, face uncertainty, and be adaptable and open-minded. I will always be grateful for the kind, welcoming people that I had the pleasure of befriending throughout the world. I am hoping to find some time soon to share my insights on this experience and consolidate them into a blog.
Since October of 2019, I have been working for Accenture, a global technology consulting firm. Accenture is a very forward thinking company which emphasizes solving problems using iterative, collaborative methods. I am continually inspired by the incredible work that my colleagues at Accenture are doing every day for clients and for the world, and it has been a wonderful year of personal and professional growth
Due to client confidentiality, I cannot reveal too many specific details about my projects with Accenture, but since beginning, I have been able to:
